Arrest after drugs raid in Clevedon

Bags of white powder, £300 of cannabis and three mobile phones were seized by police from a home in Clevedon this morning. 

Officers arrested a 23-year-old man at the address on Kingsley Road in Clevedon for for possession with intent to supply illegal drugs and money laundering.

Constable Adam Cox said: "We take drug-related crime very seriously in North Somerset. 

"If you have information about drug dealing in your neighbourhood, please report it by calling the new non-emergency police telephone number 101. We will listen and we will act."
