Clevedon Salerooms November auction this week

Going...going...gone to Clevedon Salerooms for its next specialist sale on Thursday, November 15.

Among the lots at its pre-Christmas sale at The Auction Centre, Kenn Road, Kenn, are some great watches and jewellery from its October valuation day.

Included are a 5.5 carat diamond cross-over ring which carries an estimate of £12-16,000.

For the James Bond in your family an Omega Seamaster stainless steel cased watch is estimated up to £2,000 while for those with the Midas touch an 18ct gold cased Rolex perpetual day-date wristwatch with 18ct strap is estimated at £4-6,000.

The sale as usual includes some fine antique furniture with Lot 18 featuring 1950s designer furniture which is expected to attract online bidders from around the world.

The picture section includes an atmospheric oil on canvas by Lawrence Toynbee (1922-2002) depicting rugby players on a misty pitch to be sold on behalf of former Bristol players with an estimated tag of £1,500.

The preview is on Tuesday, November 13, 2-5.30pm; Wednesday, November 14, 10am-7.30pm  and sale day from 9am.
