Clevedon removal firm help CHSW charity shops

Decluttering is a great activity to beat the January blues but it can also give a local charity a much needed boost.   

Any good quality items can be donated to Children's Hospice South West for sale at its charity shops just by dropping them off at Yeates' Clevedon based removal and storage depot.

The charity drop off point is located in the depot car park where there is a dedicated container for CHSW items. 

The initiative is a result of the Yeates and CHSW's ongoing partnership that has already provided lots of furniture, clothes and toys when customers move with Yeates.

Yeates removal customers are already offered a free collection service on their move day for any CHSW donated goods. 

All they have to do is simply request donation sacks from Yeates prior to their move.

However now even people who aren't moving house can still donate good quality, items for the Hospice by just dropping them off at the Yeates' depot. 

Yeates managing director James Griffin said: "CHSW is an amazing local charity which we have supported for some time. 

"This partnership has allowed us to strengthen our support for the charity whilst offering customers a new addition to our service. 

"It's great to be able to provide people with the satisfaction of not only having a clear out but also doing a good deed."

The charity would be delighted to receive good quality items including furniture, clothing, toys and baby equipment. 

All donated goods will be sold by CHSW in their charity shops to raise much needed funds. 

CHSW retail stock generator Jane Smith said: "Profits from our shops are hugely important in enabling CHSW to keep supporting local life-limited children and their families. 

"The opening of our first shop in Bristol, with more on the way, means we are looking for more stock than ever."

The drop off point for donations is located in the car park at Yeates, Unit 10, Windmill Road, Kenn Business Park, Clevedon, BS21 6RS.
