International literary award for Clevedon writer

A woman from Clevedon has picked up an international literary award.

Mrs Ann Fox, a member of the Inner Wheel Club in Clevedon won a silver necklace for her story 'Purge' at the International Inner Wheel Club literary awards in Turin.

The Clevedon arm of the international organisation which is linked to the Rotary played host to members from around the District for their annual Interclub lunch earlier this month with District Chairman Nicky Clark as a special guest.

The speaker was a fellow Inner Wheel member from Chipping Sodbury, Mrs. Margaret Geiss, who gave a light-hearted talk on hats, complete with demonstrated examples.
