Popular Moguls Indian restaurant and takeaway is back in Clevedon.

The chef who ran the original restaurant at 33 Old Church Road has taken advantage of an empty shop at 5 Old Church Road to bring his curries to Clevedon's diners once more.

The former Moguls is now the current Monsoon Indian restaurant but despite also the presence of the Red Rose restaurant and takeaway on the same street, as well as pizza, fish and chip and kebab shops, Siraj Islam believes there is plenty of business to be had.

Mr Islam, who lives in Clevedon, has gone into partnership with brothers Ralph, Naz and Shof, Naz's wife Shima and her brother Shimon.

Shimon said: "The previous customers who used to love Moguls have heard the chef is coming back and are looking forward to his delicious traditional Indian cooking."

The rest of the family live in Weston-super-Mare and run the Bombay Palace in Cleeve and the Kismet restaurant in Congresbury.

Moguls hosted a full house of former customers for a free meal on Sunday and will be open to the public from Tuesday.

It will be open Tuesdays to Sundays from midday to 2pm and 5:30pm to 11pm.

On Fridays and Saturdays it is open until 11:30pm.

Moguls offer free delivery on takeaways over £15 and deliver from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.

Contact them on 01275 878287 or 01275 878 453.
