Spring flower show at Clevedon

Snowdrops will be making an appearance at one of the earliest flower shows in North Somerset on Saturday, February 23, at Clevedon Community Centre.

Colourful blooms will be featured at Clevedon Gardeners' Club annual spring flower show.

As well as the spring blooms there will also be bric-a-brac, cake stalls, tombola and an exhibition of paintings from 1-4.15pm.

There will be nearly 100 classes on show including pot plants, floral art, fruit, vegetables, craft, preserves and great British baking in the men-only cake section.

There are many open classes and those especially for young people with lots of prizes to be won.

Admission £1 including free entry to hamper draw

Accompanied children under 16 are free.

Awards will be presented at 4pm.

The deadline for entries is  5pm on Thursday, February 21.
