Tyntesfield Xmas Concert for Clevedon Choir

A Clevedon-based, female vocal ensemble will be giving an entertaining concert of Christmas music old and new in the Chapel at Tyntesfield on Friday December 9 at 7 pm.  

The group, called Miscellany, is soon to celebrate its 30th year and tickets for their Christmas showpiece at the 60-seat Tyntesfield chapel on the Clevedon Road to Bristol cost £10.50 (including booking fee, hot drink and mince pie for those who arrive at the reception between 6pm and 6.30pm).

In 2012 Miscellany will be marking its 30th anniversary with various special events, including a guest appearance in the prestigious Cheltenham Town Hall in April and organising a spectacular evening of Clevedon Choirs in Celebration at the Clevedon Community Centre, on October 13. 

The Clevedon celebration will involve up to nine organisations that exist in order to sing in and around Clevedon, and will be a fund-raiser for the Community Centre which serves our town so well but which is in dire need of repairs. 

Over the last 30 years Miscellany have helped to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes.
