FAMILIES visiting Puxton Park got a glimpse of the first flock of lambs to be born at the Adventure Park in 2014.
The popular attraction outside Weston-super-Mare invited youngsters to its first lambing weekend of the year at the weekend, as part of its educational experiences.
Puxton Park stages regular educational days with its farmers and falconer to aid the learning of children across the South West and this weekend proved hugely successful.
Children and adults alike were able to get up close and personal by bottle feeding and handling the lambs, as well as listening to informative talks about how the park cares for its lambs on a day to day basis.
Puxton's Alistair Mead said: "We were thrilled with the amount of young people who took park in our educational lambing weekend.
"Everyone really enjoyed the experience of holding and bottle feeding our new flock of lambs, which is fantastic.
"For the past few years the park has been overwhelmed with the sheer volume of lambs born at the park and we are looking forward to another bumper year.
"As a result we plan to hold further lambing weekends over the coming months."
