Police blocking off the tickenham road into nailsea from clevedon just after the turning up to failand. Something bad has happened.

The police have said the road was closed due to a car crash between a car and a van by the Failand turn-off on the Clevedon Road out of Nailsea.

There was an oil spill as a result which took a while to clear up and both vehicles had to be recovered. No injuries fortunately but the road was closed for around an hour.
