Furniture maker David Mildon is opening a new shop and workshop at the former Tickenham Garden Centre.
David makes bespoke pieces using only reclaimed materials and recently had a hugely successful exhibition at The Blue Room, Nailsea.
The opening night is next Friday from 6-9pm.
There will be a bonfire, mulled wine, drinks for the children and snacks, The Hogroast Man will be setting up for anyone interested in having something to eat and folk band Rob The Rich with be playing.
The winner of a competition to build the tallest and studiest tower out of the off cuts of wood gets a bottle of whiskey.
There will be a mini version without splinters for the children, with a few little prizes.
It is planned to be a fun night and a chance to view the shop and have a look at what David makes out of old wood.
