AUDIENCES get ready for an evening of rock, vampires and pure evil as the spellbinding Vampires Rock comes to town as part of its 10th anniversary tour.
Long before the World became obsessed with the likes of Twilight and True Blood, hit musical, Vampires Rock, paved the way for all things supernatural.
With a massive fan base and sales well over a million, Vampires Rock has reached cult status and is one of the most successful touring theatre shows in the UK today.
Vampires Rock is a show like no other with a twist of rock and a hint of comedy, and jam packed with the greatest anthems you know and love.
Set in New York in the year 2030, the undead are among us and livelier than ever, none more so than in club 'Live and Let Die'.
The charismatic and supremely evil club owner, Baron Von Rockula (Steve Steinman), is in search of a new bride when along comes Pandora, a naive and geeky young singer looking to audition for a place in the club's resident rock back.
The Baron must convince the unsuspecting Pandora who auditions for the new singing position, to cross over to the dark side and live forever in Rock N Roll Hell.
Little does she know that the only job on offer is to be the eternal bride of evil Baron Von Rockula.
Cue lots of comedy, fantastic costumes and a fair amount of fake blood as the Baron attempts to teach Pandora the ways of 'Rock'.
Expect an amazing stage set, pyrotechnics to blow your mind, beautiful dancers and of course Steve Steinman's famously powerful vocals.
The tale is told through a whole horde of Rock Anthems made famous by acts such as Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Meat Loaf, Queen and many more.
Vampires Rock creator and star, Steve Steinman, said: "I wanted to create something where you could come to the show and be part of it from the very first time.
"When we started out the show was great but it was a bit smaller than it is now, over the years we've added more dancers, more costumes, more pyrotechnics, we've introduced fire dancing and we recently added a silk dancing routine as well.
"I wouldn't say Vampires Rock is a cult, but once you've been to see it you keep coming back - there's definitely a Vampires Rock Family.
"There are people that travel all over to see us, there are even people with Baron Von Rockula and Pandora tattoos – that's the level of commitment the fans have."
The show has attracted some famous names in its time on tour too, including Eddie Ojeda of hit rock band, Twisted Sister, and Toyah Wilcox, who toured in the show for two years as the Devil Queen, the long suffering wife of Baron Von Rockula.
Now after ten year's touring Vampires Rock is better than ever and while the fans keep coming back, Steve says the production will continue to rock theatres across the country.
Vampires Rock will be at the Playhouse, Weston-super-Mare, on Thursday 24 October, at 7.30pm.
