A North Somerset sports scheme is offering beginners the chance to try their hand (and legs!) at skiing.
You may not have tried it before, with concerns about being good enough, so come along and try it out again in a safe, friendly and social environment.
Back to Sport 4 Life is offering a more social approach to exercise to people who want to get active again but may not feel ready or able to join a club.
Participants can be aged 16+ and the programme is for beginners.
This is the third year of Back To Sport 4 Life and the scheme is launching the opportunity to try skiing again at Avon Ski Centre, Churchill.
The programme starts on Wednesday November 21, from 10.30-11.30am.
All instruction is carried out by a qualified instructor and you will learn to control your speed, direction, perform turns and stop safely.
The cost for the 10 weeks is £75 with a saving of £115.
This is to be paid before the first session.
To reserve your place call North Somerset Council sport and active lifestyle team on 01275 882736 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Back to Sport 4 Life programme has been organised as part of the Go4Life scheme to encourage inactive adults in North Somerset to get active at least 5 x 30 minutes a week.
