Eat local - Could you give up your Reggae Reggae sauce?

Could you live purely on food grown in and around Clevedon? No chocolate, no pasta, no Reggae Reggae sauce.
-
Do you know where your food comes from? Do miles matter? And what local sauces would you stick on your ribs?
Well, one Clevedon woman has set herself the goal of going one month doing just that.
Ruth Gofton, 44, hopes to promote sustainable eating habits with her month-long quest to only eat food that comes from within a 50 mile radius of Clevedon.
The Glebe Road resident is a member of Transition Clevedon, a group which wants the town to think more about what it does in a bid to become more sustainable.
And Ms Gofton will be raising money during her challenge/ordeal/attempt in order to help fund new projects in the town to make people more aware of where their food comes from.
You can play your part by suggesting products and recipes for Ms Gofton to try.
Make your suggestion on the Transition Clevedon website or visit their stall at the farmers' market.
