6pm (evenings), 12 noon (weekends and holidays). Full screening times at curzon.org.uk.
The Curzon is the oldest continually used cinema in the UK. It's cheap compared to the multiplexes, oozes character and if you're lucky, you'll be serenaded by an organist before the film. It's also a treat to find that a film advertised to start at 7:45, starts at 7:45, not after 20 minutes of adverts. A gem.

I''d love to know how they select the films for this gorgeous cinema full of faded glamour and staffed by friendly folk because when choosing what to see I would always far rather pop down the road to the Curzon than drive over to the soulless multiplex up the M5. They show a great selection and their film club specials on a Sunday are great. Local(ish) marshfield farm icecream is available (a personal favourite) and the old organ at the front lends more nostalgia to this lovely cinema. Long may it last and at £5.50 a ticket for adults it''s very reasonable too.
