RED NOSE DAY 2013 Clevedon tennis

Really good turnout at Clevedon Lawn Tennis Club's fun tournament at the weekend. It's not often that you see Where's Wally, an unsual blonde, a sailor, a couple of surgeons, a bumblebee and pyjama clad tennis players on court! The red nose cakes were a great hit as was the raffle with a superb first prize of an Amazon £50 voucher donated by Somerglaze Windows and lots of other great prizes kindly donated by Indulgence Chocolates, Panache, Tudball Opticians, Present Company and Luna. A really fun day that raised £450 for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. Well done everyone who attended. A big thank you to our sponsors; Somerglaze Windows, Rick Ford Landscapes and Emotiv and to the retailers and businesses who kindly donated raffle and tournament prizes. Special mention to Oliver Nash, son of Rick Ford who raised £170 by hitting 111 successful serves in just under 1/2 an hour.
