Excellent value for money

We had a wonderful meal at Mon Plaisir last evening and the "early diner" deal was fantastic value. The food was delicious and the service first class. What more could one ask for?

    For me this is the best restaurant in Somerset. Splendid ambience, supreme service and really excellent food beautifully presented. The wine list is comprehensive and the prices realistic. But, beware, lots of other folk value this place and you'll have to book early. And then you'll find out you're dining at a gem of a restaurant. Jonnor

The service is second to none, the wine list is extensive and selected perfectly to compliment the range of dishes. This is the perfect place to escape to if you want top food and drink , top service and a top setting.

    Mon Plaisir in Hill Road is a restaurant that serves some very tasty food influenced by both British and Continental cuisine. They have an extensive menu, including dishes such as steak au poivre and chicken provencal, all of which can be washed down with a bottle from their comprehensive wine list.

    Homemade food and a fine wine list that is Mon Plaisir, this exceptional fine dining restaurant located on the corner of Hill Road. It was actually an accident how we ended up here we got lost looking for another restaurant! But am I glad we did because the food here is so niche, so rich of colour and flavour. Definitely a hidden British secret.
